Dear Dames and Knights, 

it is with deep regret that the Magisterial House of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP) informs all about the decease of one of our most prominent, committed and loyal knights, Sir Csaba Szamosvölgyi, Secretary of State for Equipment Donations of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Cooperation of the Government of our State.

Sir Csaba was knighted on the 16th November 2007 at the Royal Palace in Gödöllő city, Hungary, and passed away suddenly on the 30th January 2024, at the age of 60.

The Magisterial House and the Office of the Prime Minister present their most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and friends of Sir Csaba for their tragic and sudden loss, which is also a very significant loss for KMFAP and for its Knights and Dames, and seize the opportunity to inform all that his Funeral Service will take place on the 16th February in Vác city, Hungary.
