The Magisterial House of the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP), by the present Declaration makes clear that the assistance presently given Mr. Elòd Tóásó, the Hungarian citizen who was recently arrested in Bolivia and accused to be allegedly involved in the preparation of an attempt against the life of the Bolivian President H. E. Mr. Evo Morales, is due to an express request and mandate given by his family and to the fulfillment of the humanitarian mission of our Sovereign Order and State in the World.

Furthermore this Magisterial House declares that Mr. Elöd Tóásó, as well as the other persons involved in this sad matter, is not - and has never been - a Knight of our Sovereign Order ( KMFAP ), nor a member of any one of its state organizations or institutions, neither a member of any of the the several organizations with whom KMFAP maintains friendly relations in many countries, nevertheless our Sovereign Order and State is providing the Mr. Elöd Tóásó proper juridical assistance given by a reputed local law firm, as well as medical assistance in case of necessity.
