Message of the Grand Master on the occasion of the International Day of Peace of the United Nations
 

"Dear Knights and Dames,

On the 21st of September, by the initiative of the United Nations, part of the World celebrates the International Day of Peace, while, unfortunately, the other part continues spreading war, terror and violence, causing the horrible exodus of thousands of man, woman and children of all ages, dramatically looking for a safe place to live.

Peace is not the absence of War, Peace is the absence of Violence, and in fact misery, starvation, ignorance, illnesses, child abuse, intolerance of all kinds, xenophobia, lack of democracy, are all forms of Violence, therefore the World is far from living in Peace and consequently is far from granting the Human Rights to the large sectors of the human population. ......"
