The Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP) launched its “International Orphan Program” in order to provide funds to orphans and semi-orphans for their training and education.

Three years ago KMFAP committed to contribute regularly to the costs of IT studies of 30 orphans in Gyula city, in Hungary. In the school year of 2012 – 2013 the “Malta Cross Foundation International” - the humanitarian organisation of Knights of Malta - undertook to cover the IT tuition fees of another 17 children throughout the year. The financial basis of the subsidies are solely ensured by the international donations of the KMFAP members.
